This hourly role is designed for experienced litigators who want substantive casework without a full-time, partner-track commitment.
The position is remote with a focus on California matters and offers flexibility around schedule and workload. You will work alongside senior litigation lawyers, participate in investigations and agency work, and contribute to discovery, motion practice, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
The team is expanding its California capacity and is seeking candidates who can commit to an expected annual availability (approximately 1,000 hours, depending on casework). An active bar license and familiarity with federal/state court and administrative agency practice are required.
- 5+ years of employment litigation experience, preferably on the management side.
- Experience with federal and state court practice and administrative agencies (EEOC, DOL, etc.).
- Proven litigation skills: pleadings, discovery management, motion practice, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Strong time-management, ability to work remotely and collaboratively with senior lawyers.
- Active California bar license and admission (or eligibility) to practice in a state where the firm maintains an office.
- Willingness to be available for approximately 1,000 hours per year, depending on assignments.
