AmLaw firm seeks a lateral Tax Partner to join and grow its Raleigh tax practice. The role will combine client advisory, transactional tax work and tax controversy matters across federal and state levels.

The firm is looking for a senior lawyer who can lead engagements, supervise junior attorneys and contribute to business development in the region. A portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and cultivate client relationships is advantageous.

Established partner-level experience in tax law (federal and state tax, transactional tax planning, and/or tax controversy)
Licensed to practice in relevant jurisdiction and eligible to practice in North Carolina
Proven record of leading matters and supervising teams
Business development skills and ability to bring or grow client relationships
Strong communication skills and experience interacting with corporate clients and tax authorities
