Traditional Labor Associate

This position is based in our Omaha office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all facets of management labor relations, including unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB, union organizing campaigns, card check and neutrality agreements, collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration proceedings, and mass picketing injunctions.
• Provide legal advice on the NLRA, protected concerted activity, union work stoppages, and related issues.
• Conduct management training on labor relations topics.
• Support clients on California workplace law matters and other assignments as needed.

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of traditional labor law experience involving labor relations.
• Admission to the Nebraska Bar.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency enforcement techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
