How many seats the Dublin table actually prices.

The 2026 legal counsel salary Ireland table is a price on 3,442 practicing in-house solicitors, not a vacancy board. Across 250 structured interviews with Dublin in-house counsel and hiring managers, companies described a counted stock and a dated euro band — and no public series of unfilled seats.

The Law Society of Ireland’s Snapshot of the Solicitors’ Profession 2025, published 8 June 2026, records 3,442 practicing in-house solicitors at 31 December 2025: 2,911 in private industry and 531 in State or public bodies, on a national stock of 12,961 practicing certificates. A counted stock, not a job board.

Four facts, one table: a counted in-house stock, a Dublin concentration, a dated euro-and-dollar band, and a growth intention that is not a vacancy series. Law Society stock, ERI bands and the KPMG sample sit in the source list.

02 The 2026 table

The 2026 legal counsel salary Ireland axis, from the State trainee floor to Dublin senior.

The only dated, non-recruiter employer-survey band located for 2026 prices Ireland in-house counsel from an entry mean of €83,552 to a senior mean of €138,932, with a Dublin legal-counsel cut sitting above the national figures at every rung.

SalaryExpert, powered by Economic Research Institute, stated on 26 August 2026 that the average in-house counsel gross salary in Ireland is €121,101 a year, plus an average bonus of €7,993. Entry-level counsel with one to three years of experience average €83,552; senior counsel with eight or more years average €138,932. The same publisher’s Dublin cut for legal counsel, dated the same day, puts the mean at €131,875, the bonus at €8,704, entry at €90,986 and senior at €151,292. Converted at the European Central Bank euro reference rate of 1.1592 US dollars per euro on 11 September 2026, the Ireland mean is $140,380 and the Dublin mean is $152,870.

That Dublin premium is about nine percent above the Ireland mean. The same Dublin page states that Dublin’s cost of living sits 37 percent above the national average. The pay step does not match the stated living-cost step — a derived read from those two ERI figures, not a second survey. For a general counsel setting a 2026 band, the implication is narrow: a Dublin legal-counsel mean that merely tracks the national in-house figure will read as a discount once the candidate is paying Dublin rent.

Central Statistics Office weekly earnings bound the table without equalling it. In the Q1 2026 preliminary Earnings and Labour Costs release, published 26 May 2026 and revised 6 July 2026, average weekly earnings in professional, scientific and technical activities were €1,311.38 (about €68,192 annualized), in financial, insurance and real estate €1,688.13 (about €87,783), and in information and communication €1,824.62 (about €94,880). Those NACE averages mix lawyers with accountants, consultants and other professionals. They sit below the ERI in-house mean, which is the point: counsel pay in this market is a professional premium on the sector averages around it, not a restatement of them.

A neighbouring payroll figure belongs in the same paragraph as context, not as a substitute. The Department of Enterprise Annual Business Survey of Economic Impact 2024, published 12 February 2026, put average payroll per person at €98,000 in foreign-owned agency-client firms and €65,000 in Irish-owned agency-client firms. An Ireland in-house mean of €121,101 sits above that foreign-owned average, as a legal-function salary should. A company that benchmarks its Dublin counsel against the all-occupation FDI payroll line will under-price the seat.

The 2026 band is about to become more public, slowly. Ireland missed the Pay Transparency Directive deadline of 7 June 2026; the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality confirmed the miss in a written Dáil answer on 26 May 2026 (PQ 936), as reported by A&L Goodbody on 29 May 2026. A central gender-pay-gap portal is scheduled for the November 2026 cycle, on top of the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 already covering employers with 50 or more employees. KPMG Law’s April 2025 sample found 57 percent of senior in-house respondents saying a gender pay gap exists where they work, and 78 percent saying their organization produces a gender-pay-gap report. Advertisement-range rules remain phased. Until they land, the Dublin table on this page is still a private number companies and counsel argue over in offer letters, not a figure sitting on a job post.

The pay step does not match the stated living-cost step.

03 The stock it prices

A capital-concentrated in-house profession, majority female, mid-career.

The Dublin table does not price rural counsel. It prices a profession that has been moving in-house by about a percentage point every two years, and that still trains almost nobody in-house.

Sartori maps about 3,000 lawyers in Dublin. The Law Society snapshot is the census this page uses for the in-house cut of that market: 27 percent of practicing solicitors sat in-house at year-end 2025. The Gazette, on 23 April 2025, working from the LSRA admissions series, put the combined in-house cohort at 25.9 percent of the profession at end-2022, 26.6 percent at end-2023 and 27.2 percent at end-2024, with 66 percent of the 3,335 solicitors working in-house at end-2024 female. The 2025 snapshot continues that series at a rounded 27 percent.

In-house share of practicing solicitors, 2022–2025. Law Society / LSRA admissions series through end-2024 (Gazette, 23 April 2025); 2025 snapshot rounded to 27 percent (8 June 2026).

Law Society Gazette, 23 April 2025; Snapshot of the Solicitors' Profession 2025, 8 June 2026.

Two-thirds of all practicing certificates sat in Dublin at year-end 2025: 8,827 of 12,961, with Cork (965), Galway (388) and Limerick (327) the next three counties, per the same snapshot. The in-house location census is a year older and sharper. The LSRA Pathways to the Professions 2024 report, published 10 July 2025, and the Law Society Annual Report 2024 both record 2,827 solicitors classified in-house at 31 December 2024, of whom 2,301 were in Dublin. The Law Society / Ipsos B&A 2025 member survey, reported in the Gazette on 8 December 2025, found 76 percent of in-house and public-sector respondents Dublin-based — 74 percent of private in-house, 79 percent of public-sector. Either cut, the Dublin table is a capital table.

Age and gender texture matter for anyone pricing a 2026 seat. The LSRA 2024 in-house practicing-certificate table counted 1,870 female holders, 948 male and 9 other; the modal age band was 40–49 (1,337 of 2,827). The 2025 survey put median age at 44.2 for private in-house respondents and 46.5 for public-sector respondents. The 2025 snapshot graphic shows in-house markedly more female than law firms, which sit near 50/50. A company hiring a newly qualified solicitor into an in-house seat is hiring against that grain: the incumbent stock is mid-career and majority female; the trainee pipeline, as the next section records, is still almost entirely firm-side.

Sortable — Ireland’s largest in-house legal workplaces by practicing-solicitor count at 31 December 2025, with the 2023 comparator from the Gazette top-20 table of 24 April 2024. Counts are solicitors connected to that employer and holding a practicing certificate on the day, not total legal-function headcount.

Five of the twenty largest legal workplaces in the 2025 snapshot are in-house desks. The work those desks actually report is not a generic commercial brief. The 2025 Law Society / Ipsos B&A wave, compared with 2023 in the 8 December 2025 Gazette, put commercial matters at 50 percent of private in-house work (41 percent of all in-house in 2023) and data protection at 46 percent of private in-house (38 percent of all in-house in 2023; 24 percent of public-sector). Litigation sat at 25 percent of private in-house and 31 percent of public-sector. Growth fields named on the private side were AI, technology and cybersecurity, and data protection; on the public side, AI, environmental and planning, and administrative and public law.

04 Who still needs a seat

Demand is a statute stack plus a landing pad, not a vacancy series.

Companies still need Ireland in-house seats where a 2025 or 2026 instrument landed on a Dublin establishment, and where a US parent opened an EU headquarters that has to sign Irish and EU paper. That is not the same as a count of open jobs.

KPMG Law’s April 2025 outlook is the intention figure already on the decoder. What it does not do is name the seats. The dated instruments that actually move a 2026 hire are specific. Regulation (EU) 2022/2554, the Digital Operational Resilience Act, has applied in Ireland since 17 January 2025; the Central Bank of Ireland’s Annual Report 2025 records DORA implementation as a 2025 supervisory priority for banks and other financial entities. The Individual Accountability Framework put Senior Executive Accountability Regime duties on executive pre-approval controlled functions from 1 July 2024 and on independent non-executive directors from 1 July 2025. The revised Consumer Protection Code came into effect in March 2026. None of those dates is a 2027 problem.

Privacy seats have a 2025 invoice attached. The Data Protection Commission’s Annual Report 2025, published 30 June 2026, recorded €530.773 million in administrative fines, of which €530 million landed on TikTok Technology Limited in April 2025 for EEA-user-data transfers to China, plus €550,000 on the Department of Social Protection in June 2025. Cumulative fines since May 2018 reached €4.04 billion. New 2025 inquiries included X (Grok training data) and a second TikTok China-storage file. A Dublin one-stop-shop that writes fines of that size is a standing reason for a US-parented platform to put privacy counsel on the Irish payroll rather than on a London panel.

The AI calendar is now, not next year. The EU AI Act makes Member State authorities responsible for implementation from 2 August 2026; Article 50 transparency obligations land on the same day. Ireland’s Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Act 2026 was signed on 21 July 2026; the AI Office of Ireland opened around 1–2 August 2026, with 15 sectoral competent authorities designated, the Central Bank, the Data Protection Commission and the Legal Services Regulatory Authority among them. Five days before that enforcement date, RTÉ reported on 27 July 2026 that OpenAI had leased the Tropical Fruit Warehouse as its EU headquarters in Dublin, already more than 100 employees, adding 250 roles over two years across go-to-market, engineering, user operations, HR, finance, privacy, legal and workplace. The legal headcount inside those 250 is not broken out. The timing is.

A landingA named instrument

  1. Capital arrives A US-parented establishment, a fund promoter, a manufacturing campus. The legal seat is a consequence of the landing, not a headcount line in the investment announcement.
  2. A statute goes live DORA, SEAR, the revised Consumer Protection Code, the AI Act, Cyber Resilience Act reporting. Each one attaches a duty to a Dublin letterhead.
  3. The panel cannot sign it External counsel still does the specialist work. The employee is the person who owns the controlled function, the DPO registration, or the first Irish practicing certificate.

IDA Ireland’s 2025 results, published 18 December 2025, recorded a record 323 investments associated with 15,319 expected jobs, client employment of 312,468 (142,501 of them in Dublin), and 1,002 US firms employing 218,567 people in the Irish Examiner’s 1 July 2026 write-up of the annual report. First-half 2026 added 190 investments and 10,410 job approvals. Intel announced a €5 billion ($5.7 billion) Leixlip manufacturing investment on 13 July 2026; the campus already employs 4,900. Those figures describe establishments that will need counsel. They are not 15,319 legal seats.

The funds complex is the other standing buyer. The Central Bank of Ireland’s Annual Report 2025 counted 9,310 collective investment funds at 31 December 2025, alongside 48 credit institutions, 38 life insurers, 115 non-life insurers, 58 reinsurers, 101 investment firms and 187 fund service providers. Irish Funds Why Ireland 2026 puts Irish-domiciled net assets at €5.5 trillion and names 610 promoters of Irish-domiciled funds. A head of legal at a Central Bank-regulated firm may be designated a controlled function under Fitness and Probity. That is a dual gate, and it is why a funds general counsel hire is not the same search as a technology counsel hire.

The trainee pipeline does not refill the stock. Of 581 trainee solicitors commencing the Professional Practice Course in 2025 — the highest cohort in 17 years — the Law Society snapshot records 557 contracts in law firms, 12 in-house and 12 in State bodies. The LSRA, on 10 July 2025, put only 5 percent of 2024 new trainees in-house or in a State body, with 63 percent of 2024 trainees in one of the twenty large firms and 83 percent of trainee contracts in Dublin. A 2026 in-house seat at one to three years’ qualification is filled from a law-firm move, not from a dedicated in-house class. That is the supply constraint underneath the Dublin table, and it is measured.

2025–2026 instruments that attach a duty to an Ireland in-house letterhead. Dates are the go-live or reporting day, not a hiring forecast. Neighbouring-geo mechanics (United Kingdom SMCR, UK GDPR) are named only as contrast: they are not this table.
Instrument Go-live Who it binds Seat it moves

A landing plus a statute is a seat. A job-approval total is not.

05 The gates

A practicing certificate, a one-employer waiver, and sometimes a Central Bank file.

The width of the Dublin table is a public-private split with a statutory gate on one side and a Fitness and Probity file on the other. Pay is the visible output of those gates, not the input.

Can advise the employerCan hold a controlled function

  1. Practicing certificate Required of any in-house solicitor providing legal services as an employee of a non-solicitor, reserved or unreserved. The State-service exception is the public-sector door.
  2. One-employer PII waiver The solicitor may advise only the employer and group companies. Joint ventures outside the group fall out. The company does not buy firm professional indemnity; the solicitor cannot advise customers.
  3. Fitness and Probity Head of legal at a Central Bank-regulated firm may be a controlled function. A funds, bank or insurer general counsel is a dual gate: Law Society plus Central Bank.

The Law Society practice note of 16 December 2021, still the live rule under the Solicitors (Amendment) Act 1994 s.56, is blunt: in-house solicitors providing legal services must hold a practicing certificate regardless of practice area. It is professional misconduct and a criminal offence to provide those services without one. Employers may not re-title a solicitor as a legal executive or paralegal to avoid it. The exceptions are solicitors in the full-time service of the State, and solicitors employed solely to provide conveyancing services for a non-solicitor employer. That State exception is why the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, the Legal Aid Board and the Office of the DPP can run the largest in-house workplaces in the country on civil-service campaigns and civil-service scales.

The professional-indemnity waiver is the commercial counterpart. Under the Solicitors Professional Indemnity Insurance Regulations 2020, regulation 4(e), a practicing solicitor employed to provide legal services only to a non-solicitor employer is exempt from compulsory professional indemnity insurance, provided the solicitor will not advise any person other than the employer and group companies within Companies Act 2014 ss.7–8. A company can put a qualified solicitor on payroll without buying firm cover. The solicitor cannot then advise customers, counterparties or the public. KPMG Law’s April 2025 sample found 87 percent of senior in-house lawyers still running a panel of external advisors, which is the structural consequence: the in-house seat is a one-client counsel who buys specialist work, not a substitute for the Dublin full-service firms.

Foreign-qualified counsel is a third gate, and it is the one US-parented headquarters trip on. Solicitors admitted in Northern Ireland or England and Wales may apply for a Certificate of Admission to the Irish Roll without sitting the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test, unless the Society determines otherwise. Other foreign lawyers — including New York (one year post-qualification), California, Pennsylvania (five years), specified Australian states, New Zealand, Scotland and EU/EFTA-admitted lawyers — take the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test route. Everyone else takes the standard entrance-examination and Professional Practice Course path. A US-qualified group counsel can sit in a Dublin headquarters without an Irish practicing certificate if they are not providing Irish legal services. The moment they provide those services, they need the Roll plus a certificate. Across the same interview cohort, 41 of 88 in-house counsel at US-parented establishments over a 24-month window named practicing-certificate timing as the item their parent legal function had underestimated.

Fitness and Probity turns a funds or bank general counsel into a dual file. Conduct Standards have applied to all controlled functions since 29 December 2023; Certification Regulations since 8 January 2024; the Senior Executive Accountability Regime on executive pre-approval controlled functions from 1 July 2024 and on independent non-executive directors from 1 July 2025. The Central Bank received 3,032 pre-approval controlled function applications in 2025, per the Authorisations and Gatekeeping Report 2025 as summarized on 4 June 2026. Of 15 closed Dublin in-house searches over three years, four sat at Irish-authorized banks, insurers or fund service providers; one of those four did not complete, after a head-of-legal’s pre-approval controlled function application was withdrawn following acceptance. That is the unflattering number on this page: the dual gate is not a paperwork coda. It is a search-failure mode.

06 Paying it and earning it

One number, two decisions: what the company puts on payroll, and what the counsel will sign for.

Sartori has worked the Dublin in-house market for five years. Over the trailing three years we closed 15 in-house searches at a 93 percent completion rate, on a typical timeline of 4 to 7 months and a median 14 working days from offer to signature.

The State deskThe US-parented headquarters

  1. State legal desk Public Appointments Service campaigns, civil-service scales, the statutory practicing-certificate exception. The largest in-house workplaces by headcount. Not this search book.
  2. Domestic bank or fund Irish letterhead, Central Bank file, often a controlled function. The dual gate is the brief. Counter-offers come from other regulated employers, not from London.
  3. US-parented EU headquarters Group compensation set outside Ireland, Irish practicing certificate treated as an afterthought, privacy and AI-governance as the live labels. This is the 2026 private-sector hire.

Of those 15 closed Dublin in-house searches, nine sat at US-parented technology, life-sciences or funds employers; four sat at Irish-authorized banks, insurers or fund service providers; two were first legal hires at domestic corporates outside financial services. Three of the nine US-parented seats ran to the outer edge of the 4-to-7-month band because the Irish practicing-certificate requirement was treated as a paperwork afterthought. Our Dublin in-house mandate telemetry records a 30 percent counter-offer incidence. We do not run Public Appointments Service campaigns. The 15 closed files are a private-sector book; the three largest in-house workplaces by practicing-solicitor count — the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, the Legal Aid Board and the Office of the DPP — sit on civil-service campaigns this desk does not touch.

Across the same cohort, 64 of 96 hiring-side respondents sitting inside private-sector legal departments over a 24-month window told us their Dublin legal-counsel band is set against a group compensation framework that sits outside Ireland — usually London or a US headquarters — rather than against the Dublin table. A general counsel at a US-parented life-sciences group with an Irish manufacturing campus put it without decoration: the Dublin number is a conversion from a US band, not a local survey. A head of talent at an Irish-domiciled fund service provider said the dual practicing-certificate and pre-approval-controlled-function gate is what they now brief the board on, not the salary line.

Your exposure is a start date and a dual gate, not a missing euro on the band.

  • Price the Dublin cut, not the national mean. A nine percent Dublin step against a 37 percent stated living-cost step is already a discount in the candidate’s head. Matching the Ireland mean in a Dublin headquarters is how a search loses its first-choice name to London.
  • Name the gate in the brief. Practicing certificate now, Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test, or Central Bank pre-approval. Seats that discover the gate in week ten are the seats that run to seven months.
  • Budget the counter-offer. Our Dublin in-house counter-offer incidence is 30 percent. US-parented employers defend on group equity; regulated employers defend on the cost of a second Fitness and Probity file.
  • Do not convert an IDA announcement into a legal requisition. A 250-role headquarters that lists privacy and legal in the mix is a first-GC or privacy seat, not a department. Scope it as one hire with a panel, then add the specialist.
  • Keep the panel honest. Eighty-seven percent of senior in-house lawyers still use one. The in-house hire owns the controlled function, the Data Protection Officer registration, or the Irish signature. The panel still does the funds prospectus, the litigation, and the competition file that in-house privilege may not protect before the Court of Justice.

Your number is a Dublin mean with a bonus on top, and a certificate you cannot skip.

  • Read the Dublin cut, not the Ireland mean. Entry at €90,986 and senior at €151,292 are the capital rungs as of 26 August 2026. The national figures sit below them at every seniority.
  • Know your Roll status before you resign. Northern Ireland and England and Wales solicitors can apply for admission without the transfer test. A New York or California admission cannot be used as Irish legal services without the test, the Roll and a certificate.
  • Ask whether the seat is a controlled function. A funds, bank or insurer head of legal may be. The Central Bank file is a second clock, and it can unwind an accepted offer.
  • The in-house stock is mid-career and majority female. Two-thirds of those working in-house at end-2024 were women; the modal age band is 40–49. A newly qualified move in-house is a thin path: 24 of 581 trainee contracts went that way in 2025.
  • Remuneration is the satisfaction lever the incumbents name. Fifty-six percent of KPMG Law’s senior in-house sample, in April 2025, named increased remuneration as the factor that would most improve job satisfaction, ahead of career progression at 41 percent. That is the incumbent side of the 30 percent counter-offer rate.

Two anonymized composites from the same book, described by type and tier only. A US-parented generative-AI company standing up an EU headquarters in Dublin instructed a first Irish general counsel and a privacy lead as part of a two-year headquarters build. The group band had been set in US dollars against a California framework; the Irish practicing certificate was not in the original brief. The file closed in the seventh month, after the candidate sat the admission route and the company re-cut the euro number against the Dublin legal-counsel mean rather than against the Ireland in-house mean. A second file, an Irish-authorized fund management company replacing a head of legal designated as a controlled function, ran inside five months on the search clock and then waited on the Central Bank file; that one completed. The withdrawn pre-approval described above is the one that did not.

The Association of Corporate Counsel’s August 2026 intervention in Broadcom and VMware International v Commission, reported by the Gazette on 27 August 2026, is not a hiring freeze. It is a reminder that EU competition proceedings still protect, under AM&S Europe, independent external lawyers rather than in-house advice. Sensitive antitrust work stays on the panel. The 2026 Ireland in-house seat is a company-side counsel who still buys specialist external work. The firm-side Ireland table is a different page.

The service view of this book sits on our Dublin in-house counsel recruiting page. Companies building a legal function from nothing should start with the first general counsel guide; the sequencing questions there come before the salary line. Privacy and AI-governance seats have their own map in when to hire privacy and AI-governance counsel. The make-versus-buy decision that 87 percent of senior in-house lawyers still answer by keeping a panel is worked through in in-house versus outside counsel.

Ireland in-house counsel pay: questions from both sides of the table

What is the legal counsel salary Ireland figure for 2026?

The 2026 Ireland in-house mean is €121,101 ($140,380), with a Dublin legal-counsel mean of €131,875 ($152,870). SalaryExpert, powered by Economic Research Institute, published those employer-survey bands on 26 August 2026; dollar figures use the ECB euro reference rate of 1.1592 on 11 September 2026. Ireland entry (1–3 years) averages €83,552 ($96,853); Ireland senior (8+ years) averages €138,932 ($161,050). Dublin entry averages €90,986 ($105,471) and Dublin senior €151,292 ($175,378). Treat the bands as a modeled employer survey, not a Law Society census of solicitor pay.

How many in-house counsel does Ireland actually employ?

Year-end 2025 counted 3,442 practicing in-house solicitors: 2,911 in private industry and 531 in State or public bodies. The Law Society of Ireland’s Snapshot of the Solicitors’ Profession 2025, published 8 June 2026, records those figures as of 31 December 2025, on a national stock of 12,961 practicing certificates. The 2024 location table from the Legal Services Regulatory Authority put 2,301 of 2,827 in-house practicing certificates in Dublin — 81 percent of that year’s in-house stock in the capital.

How many companies still need an Ireland in-house seat in 2026?

There is no public vacancy census. The nearest dated proxy is 45 percent of senior in-house lawyers planning to grow teams over three years. KPMG Law’s General Counsel Outlook Report 2025, published April 2025 from a sample of more than 100 senior in-house lawyers, recorded that intention; a similar share planned to hold headcount. IDA Ireland’s 323 investments in 2025 and 10,410 job approvals in the first half of 2026 add establishments that will need counsel, not a headcount of legal seats. Do not convert those job approvals into lawyer requisitions.

How long does it take to fill a Dublin in-house legal seat?

Sartori’s Dublin in-house desk works to a typical 4 to 7 month timeline, with a median 14 working days from offer to signature. We have run that desk for five years and closed 15 in-house searches over the trailing three years at a 93 percent completion rate. Seats that also need Central Bank Fitness and Probity approval, or a first Irish practicing certificate for a group counsel who has been advising from London, sit at the outer edge of the band.

Do in-house solicitors in Ireland need a practicing certificate?

Yes. A solicitor providing legal services as an employee of a non-solicitor must hold a practicing certificate, except solicitors in the full-time service of the State. The Law Society of Ireland’s practice note of 16 December 2021, still the live rule under the Solicitors (Amendment) Act 1994 s.56, treats the obligation as applying to reserved and unreserved work. Re-titling a solicitor as a legal executive does not remove it. Solicitors in the full-time service of the State — including much of the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, the Legal Aid Board and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions — sit in the statutory exception, which is one reason the public trainee floor sits far below the private in-house entry mean.

Should we hire this seat in-house or keep it on the external panel?

Eighty-seven percent of senior Ireland in-house lawyers still run an external panel; bring in the seat when a personal signature or a controlled function is involved. KPMG Law’s April 2025 outlook found that 87 percent of its senior in-house sample kept a panel, and named regulatory compliance as the external-spend line expected to grow most to 2028. A Dublin general counsel who is also a Central Bank controlled function cannot outsource the duty of responsibility. Privacy, AI-governance and first-GC seats at newly landed US establishments are the 2026 hires that most often leave the panel and join the payroll. ERI / SalaryExpert figures are modeled employer-survey estimates, updated about every six weeks, not a census of solicitor pay. USD conversions use the ECB euro reference rate of 1.1592 on 11 September 2026. Law Society workplace counts are practicing certificates connected to an employer on 31 December, not total legal-function headcount. KPMG Law 2025 is a sample of more than 100 senior in-house lawyers, not a vacancy series. IDA job approvals are not legal seats. CSO weekly earnings by NACE mix occupations and are a bound, not a counsel salary. The Fórsa civil-service qualified-solicitor scale was not used: the source page could not be read.

Sartori & Partners runs a continuous research program over its own records: nearly 1.5 million lawyer profiles mapped globally, tens of thousands of structured candidate and client interviews, and quarterly market surveys running since 2019. The Dublin interview cohort, the mandate telemetry, the counter-offer incidence and the offer-to-acceptance window on this page come from that program, set out on our research page.
