Nationally integrated healthcare litigation team is hiring an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its defendant-side practice in Australia. The role is flexible across multiple offices or remote and will involve managing complex, high-value medical negligence and professional liability matters.

You will collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and contribute to strategic, technically demanding work that has real client impact. There is scope to mentor junior lawyers and to take a visible role in the continued growth of the national practice, with conversations possible about a clear pathway to partnership for senior practitioners.

Senior Associate / Special Counsel level (or equivalent) with defendant-side healthcare / medical negligence experience
Proven ability to manage complex, high-value litigation matters with strong technical and advocacy skills
Commercial judgement, client-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively across a national and international team
Enthusiasm for mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to practice growth; openness to a structured pathway to partnership for eligible candidates
