Trademark Associate — Intellectual Property

We are seeking a Trademark Associate to join a national intellectual property team with openings in multiple U.S. offices, including Indianapolis and Minneapolis. The role focuses on U.S. and international trademark prosecution, portfolio management, clearance, maintenance and enforcement for a mix of global brands and emerging innovators.

Day-to-day work will include preparing and prosecuting applications before the USPTO, managing TTAB proceedings and domain-name (UDRP) disputes, advising on policing and brand-protection strategies, and handling related copyright and licensing issues. The position involves both independent responsibility and cross-office collaboration on complex client matters.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing.
• 3–6 years of experience in trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement (U.S. experience required; international experience preferred).
• Experience preparing and prosecuting USPTO filings, conducting clearance searches, and managing TTAB proceedings (oppositions/cancellations).
• Experience with UDRP/domain-name disputes, cease-and-desist letters, licensing, and brand-protection strategy.
• Strong research, drafting and client-communication skills; ability to work independently and in cross-office teams.
• Familiarity with trademark searching databases and portfolio-management tools; high attention to detail and organizational skills.
