Join a leading international Energy & Infrastructure practice in Tokyo focused on cross-border project work across greenfield project finance, energy and infrastructure M&A, sovereign finance and export credit. The team acts for banks, trading houses, utilities, funds and governmental institutions on multi-jurisdictional transactions.

The role involves drafting and negotiating finance and acquisition documentation, conducting regulatory and commercial due diligence, and advising clients on transaction structure and risk allocation. You will work closely with domestic and international colleagues on commercially driven mandates and contribute know‑how to the team.

0.5–3.5 years' PQE (E&W or other Common Law qualification required)
Project finance experience and familiarity with market precedents
Strong drafting skills and solid foundations in contract and finance law
Fluency in English; strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure, be proactive and handle diverse mandates
