Highly regarded UK law firm is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Banking & Finance group in London. The role focuses on trade finance, receivables and asset-backed lending, and related regulatory and compliance work, acting for banks, commodity traders and corporate borrowers on bilateral and syndicated arrangements.

Typical matters will include letters of credit, bills of exchange, receivables finance, forfaiting, borrowing base and reserve-based structures, export credit and use of non-payment insurance. The team works closely with the commodities and litigation groups on cross-discipline matters.

Admitted solicitor in England & Wales
Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in trade finance / banking
Hands-on experience with letters of credit, bills of exchange and receivables finance
Knowledge of borrowing base / reserve-based lending, export credit and non-payment insurance
Familiarity with banking regulation, AML and sanctions considerations
